Not so fun drive in rain and hail
We left the Golden, Colorado Super Cruise Saturday night just as it started to sprinkle. Video is from when I was on I-70 about 30 min later. No damage that I saw when I got home last night. Need to wash it today. Wife took off with it before I could wash and check out this morning.

If you didn't go through anything worse than what's on your video, you're probably ok. Had $1800 of hail damage to my 05 about 1 yr ago, but I thought it would have been much worse. It took a pounding for over 20 minutes by some pretty large hail. The national weather service recorded 1-1/2" diameter hail about 2 blocks from me. I could only see about half the damage before washing the car, and even then, the small dents were tough to see. When you inspect the sides of your car, sight straight down the panels from the front or rear. I didn't see any damage to my left rear quarter panel until I was inside the car looking back through the side mirror. It was plain as day looking straight down the panel. Just check it out good after you wash it. Hopefully you will see nothing but freshly cleaned straight panels.

I took it out and washed it yesterday. No problems found at all. But just as I finished wipeing it down, it started to rain. Ran it back in the gRge and wiped down again. Looks good as new.

i live on the other end of I-70 from you in Dayton, Ohio. We got drilled by a lot of that hail as well. It was nasty stuff. Every time a hail storm strikes I seriously consider the Ziebart complete protection package (It's like $550). I've not seen that they cover hail damage specifically, but if they do I'm definitely tempted to grab it.
