I wouldn't put it through a vacuum line. It does not go to each cylinder evenly. I did this and it caused the motor to diesel (run-on) after shutting off the ignition. I pulled all my plugs and some had a lot of seafoam pushed up into the plug cavity and others had none.

The white smoke is just the seafoam burning off, IMO. People think it's carbon, but no way it's turning that hard carbon into smoke.

A water/meth injection kit would actually clean the piston tops and combustion chamber, but that's not as cheap as a can of seafoam.

Some people say they are using it in their oil. I brought it up to say that using it in your oil would be a bad idea. It is a solvent based chemical and should never be added to your oil, it will thin out your oil way too much and could harm your engine's seals.

Where should I insert it then? Wouldn't it perform the same if you put it in a tank of gas?

It doesn't perform IMO. At least not like people think. Water would work better. Google engine water torture. Pouring anything into the intake needs to be done very, very slowly.

I scoped all my cylinders after the seafoam and the valves looked nice and clean, but the tops of the pistons still had nice carbon build up.

My thought has always been if you use a good oil (full synthetic even better) and change the oil & filter regularly, you don't need any snake oil. I use Pennzoil Ultra oil changed every 5K miles. The only thing I ever add is a 20 oz. bottle of Techron to the tank at each oil change. Nothing else. My engines are always very clean.

Agreed, with good quality oil, you are getting everything you need as far as the engines internals are concerned.
