Default rear bouncy when accelerating

hey guys so i noticed that when ever i accelerate from a stop my car's rear end will just start to bounce it sinks down to grab traction then jump back up and it does this rapidly with in 4 sec until i get to about 60 mph. i seen a video on youtube of this one mustang that was doing the exact same thing as mine but i cant find it, he was at the drag tho. so anyways i went to the ford dealership to get my oil change and they did the inspection and found that my rear shocks are leaking oil, but they are new eibach coilovers and i have not done any race or even put that much mileage on the car. anyways could the leaking be the problem?

Sounds like you have rear wheel hop and that has probably damaged your Eibach coilovers...

What other suspension mods have your done, such as UCA's, LCA's, etc...

the only mod on the suspension is the coilover, so how do i solve the wheel hop problem? i already called amazon and there going to replace my coilvers with new ones, also with this problem my rear axel is hitting my exhaust system making some metal to metal sound when hitting a small bump.

Could also be the other way 'round. If the coilovers failed and aren't damping the suspension motion, he could have more than normal wheel hop. I tend to think it would take a LOT of wheel hop to ruin coilovers to the point where they're leaking.

I'd recommend taking a look at the Roush anti-hop kit along with the new coilovers. A lot of GT500 owners have had good luck eliminating hop problems with it.

Amazon...? You ordered coil-overs from Amazon, as in the walmart of the internet?

Any details on the kit you bought?

Amazon sells the Eibach coilovers. Exact same kit you'd get at any other vendor.

Maybe it's the dead body in your trunk.
