Default Removing Dash Panels How

Are the dash panels hard to remove?Talking about the brushed aluminum looking ones above glove box.Do they just pop off?
Thinking about removing them and getting them finished in another color.Didn't really want to go with the stick on kits.

Never mind... just realized you have an '11 as the instructions I had linked were 05-09.

Just be careful I would say, there's an airbag in there somewhere ready to go boom. Not sure it could even go off but I wouldn't want to be the guy that found out.

Thats what I was thinking, not gonna go prying on stuff and get kilt! If it's part of the air bag system,I might have to come up with another plan.

The instructions are same for 05-09 as they are for 10-13 ... disconnect battery for 5 minutes before pulling the passenger airbag.

I swapped the Charcoal panels in my 2010 with the aluminum in my new 2012 in the dealer parking lot when I picked up the 2012. Salesguy was looking over my shoulder the entire time .. he said it better look professional when I'm done ... LOL ..
