Default Car cover roundup

Just did a good bit of work to my stang, namely installing a watts link, detailing the crap outta it, fixing all the tiny little things broken or wrong, and fixing big things like getting my door panels redone. I have a car cover but it's old, cheap, and busted up and it doesn't quite cover the entire car. A bit of the bottom sticks out. I am looking to buy a nice car cover because I just bought a truck for work and as a DD so the stang gets parked now (paid for 2 months ago too, thank jeebus) except for weekends maybe.

Looking for people who have covers and like/love them and what brand and size they are. I would prefer one that can tuck up under the car slightly so that it is totally covered and something with tie downs or elastic fibers in the bottom so it hugs the car and becomes somewhat windproof. The car will be parked under a garage but it's open on two ends. I live in louisiana so hurricanes and bad storms are a thing so it needs to hold up well and stay on the car.

Check out the coverking line. I have the satin stretch model, which is for indoor use only, but it is very high quality and feels/looks amazing. They have a wide variety of covers and have a chart out there that lists them all with their respective pros and cons.

Well, it's cover it or let the dust settle on it. Probably won't be driving it too often, maybe once or twice a month from here on out.

If you are going to keep the car outside, I would avoide the car cover. Like stated above it will scratch your car over time. The first time I ever used a car cover, it was for a car that was kept outside. Covered it for the off season. When I removed the cover I found that almost every edge had been sanded down from the wind moving the cover constantly.

Indoors is a different story. My car is covered now during the winter, but it sits in a garage so there's no risk of wind moving the cover. I keep it covered just to avoid the dust from 4 months of hibernation.

There's a ford part number for 1 that is fitted for the mustang. Nothing gonna keep a car cover on in 30mph+ winds though.

I have been using car covers since 1984 with no problems. My garage is full so I have to leave my Mustang sitting outside. I bought a custom Noah Evolution 4 made by Covercraft through www.autoanything.com.
I take the antenna off when I put the cover on so that I wouldn't have to cut a hole. Make sure you wipe the car down each time you put the cover back on, you want to avoid debris getting on the fabric. I use a California Duster or a Microfiber cloth with detail spray. The cover does come with a 4 year warranty as well as free shipping. Over time, the material will break down leaving dust particles on your car. When this happens, call the company and they will send you another at no charge. Seems like a lot of hassel, but after years of using it keeps my car looking new.

Mine have survived wind gust up to 70 mph. When I hear a bad storm is coming I use 3 covers to protect my car. I tie them down by running a rope line under the car and tie it to the other side. You do what you got to do to protect your car.
