2005 Blower Fan Speed
Just picked up a 2005 Mustang with 131k on the odometer. Number issues needing addressed. First one is the fan speed for the AC. Feels like it is on low. Speed switch does not change fan speed. Air is cold. Changing the blower motor resistor did not fix the issue. Is this a switch issue?
Advice is appreciated.

Sounds like the switch, I would be sure it is completely secured/plugged in. I removed that panel before and somehow managed to either put the plug in upside down or not all the way seated (can't tell cause of no lighting, etc) and it caused the switches to not work properly. After playing with it a little all is back to normal.

That is the direction I am headed. Previous owner changed the head unit out before selling the car. Looks like you have to take the front panel off to get to the unit. I am hoping he did not get it plugged back in well. Thanks for the feedback.

More than likely, it is not plugged in. The wiring harness is quite short and you almost have to plug the connecter in to the switch connector after the dash panel is in place. Make sure you hear the 'click' when you plug it in.
