2010 Shelby GT500 Hard to Shift into 1st!
I recently purchased a 2010 Shelby GT500 with ~80,000 miles. As far as I know, the clutch and shifter are stock. Sometimes it is very difficult to shift into 1st gear. It's as if there is something physically blocking the shift lever (such as a lockout to prevent one from shifting from 5th to R).
There don't seem to be any TSBs to remedy this. It was fixed in my 07 by replacing the clutch with the 2010.
Also, the clutch pedal doesn't feel as light as the 2010 did in my 07.
Any suggestions as to what I can do to remedy this without replacing the clutch or shifter?
Thank you!

it's not the shifter, or any shifter. just they have an issue w/ going into first gear when worn. There's a fix. requires them taking it apart and servicing. I learned to live with it in my GTO. was rather annoying at times, but usually a "bump" forward in 2nd or being persistent and it went in.
