Default best wheel size for stock height for early s197s?

Just wondering what do you think is the best wheel size for people planning to keep stock height?

I think 18". Seems like 20" on stock height makes the car look lifted.

What do most people on stock height have?

IMO, best Stock height = 18" rims with 27" diam tires

Regardless of the wheel size, the stock tire O.D. should be about 27" unless you have a tuner to adjust for the revs/mile.

I have 18's staggered and they look good. But when I put my winters on (on the stock 17") they look good too! This car just looks good!

18's and still roughly stock height (not sure if Koni puts the lower spring seat in exactly the same place as Ford puts it on the OE struts).

And just because I've got a slightly contrary streak in me, I'm not afraid to go a little shorter with the tire diameter even with my car NOT being lowered when it lets the car corner a little better and accelerate a tiny bit quicker. 285/35's on 18 x 11's all around.

There is no best. It is entirely subjective and depends on what you like.
