My new 2013 GT. Too soon to tune?
#21
My car dyno'd 370 factory, and with 93 octane tune, 408. This subject of CAI on the coyote has been beaten to death, and has been proven on Forums dedicated to the coyote platform, and the s197 platform with coyote. There were also tests performed by 2 of the fastest N/A coyote cars. To compare HP, on track, I ran a best of 12.80 factory, and a best of 12.18 with tune, and suspension.

Apples and oranges. Even still, they got very minor gains that nobody would be able to notice without a dyno. Even then, the gains are, for the most part, at the top end where my car never gets to.

A gain is a gain. And since the gains are where your car never goes, why do any mods at all. Peak HP is always measured at the high RPM spectrum. Where apparently you never reach, therefore the modifications are not utilized.
