You also need to take the car to the dealer to have it reprogrammed, otherwise it will do two really annoying things, first it will keep beeping in reverse and it will start beeping at 75mph, I did the mod years ago and haven't taken it to reprogram yet because the dealer here are idiots. One of these days I'll just give up and buy a ford programmer and a motorcraft subscription and fix it myself.
