Squeak with Hurst short throw shifter.
Hey guys I was wondering if you could help. I have a squeak everytime I hit a bump in the road or if it's in neutral and I move the shifter left and right. I tried searching and all I got was that it may be a plastic cup where linkage is connected. What should I try?

Well, I'd say first check underneath and make sure the bushing is still in the bottom of the shifter where the linkage arm connects...also make sure the bolts/nuts are all tight, and you could also try some oil on the pivot ball (applied from the top).

Step #2 C. Make sure these 2 are tight?
Step #2 F. Apply grease?
Step #2 G. Re-Tighten these 4?
The Barton shifter comes now with a gasket that sits underneath the shifter. Does your Hurst shifter have one? If not, maybe try to get one and install??
