Finally got around to installing HIDs as well. I'm happy with the results.

I would say I have average size hands and it's a bit tricky trying to snake my hand into the headlight area. I just tried accessing the area from different angles, and with some patience it worked.

Honestly, I would say just have a friend with smaller hands help you out. No kidding either. Just have them be careful with the HID bulbs when inserting them into the housing area. Best way is to hold the HID bulb near the housing access area and guide it through looking from the front of the headlight...basically giving you a "window" to see the bulb, line it up, and twist it on. If you try to install the bulb by viewing from the rear of the housing there's a possibility you could hit/scrap the bulb on the edges of the housing -- it's just harder to see.

The wiring portion is pretty easy and straight forward. The hardest part (next to installing the bulbs ) is hiding the wires. Which really isn't hard at all...just time consuming.

Hope that helps.

if you do the fogs, that's a pain, i never really dould get the grill all way off so take a tip try to edge a towel between grill and bumper, on 2010 the bulbs very tight putting in holes, seems only part way in, but in, yhey work fine,, question just to compare, if you have the stangmod HID'S when you look at the lights when off are those littlr white needle thin barbs on top or bottom?

No offense to stang mods, but their HIDs are WAAAAAY overpriced.

$279 for a 35watt HID kit is outrageous. I paid $103 for a 55watt HID kit of the same specifications, same warranty, same bixenon bulbs. So, nearly a third the cost, and more powerful? WIN! And as far as quality, I have used 2 versions of the same brand HID kit in 2 different cars over the past 5 years. Not one single problem.

The only way I'd spend that much money on a HID kit is if it was a Phillips or Bosch based kit, and I was retrofitting HID lenses into my headlight assemblies.
