Here is the Difference between the Shorter 2008 VS the longer 2010

And this is how much my my tip is out which to me is perfect, one of the few things I did not like about the rear was how far the tip stuck out. Ford should have put the tip on to match the angle of the car IMO.

No offense buddy but that seems like a little steep. I know people on here got them for a lot cheaper shipped. I just have to be patient I guess unless you're willing to lower the price. PM me and we'll talk.

Wow that's a noticeable difference, thanks for the reference pictures, now I know for sure if I get the 05-09 set up I have to get the 2010 GT Mufflers lol

Are you asking for the Left GT pipe or the Left side of the V6 FRPP pipe? The highest I have seen them listed for was $119 for the GT pipe, we already have the right GT pipe on our cars.

Siber Express, Thanks for posting those pics comparing the 2 mufflers, Im sure it will help others out!

Base on your picture of how you like it, did you intentionally cut the pipes shorter to get the look you wanted? mine stick out similar to how it looked when stock.

The only problem I have found with the mufflers sticking out and the design of the rear bumper, is that once (thats all it took) when at the gas station filling up I backed into the exhaust pipe when wearing shorts and not paying attention, lets just say it got my FULL ATTENTION

Actually placed the X-Pipe up to the Y-Pipe and marked it, so realistically it is all in the stock location, it was almost 9 inches from the Cat if I remember right.
I do know the GT500 Rear Valance has about 1 more inch of Plastic to the rear on the bottom so some is hiding behind it and when we did the exhaust on my friends 05 the over the axle pipe was about 1 inch back from the Y-Pipe in the clamp, so if mine was like that (it is all the way up to the X-Pipe now) it could make up some of it also.

And yes, backing into that would definitely get your Full Attention.
