Nope. The kit came with a prep (brake cleaner) and additionally I used more brake cleaner and wiped them down really well. Seemed to work ok!

Looks awesome!! I'm here because I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my car. Just not sure if I want to do red with a yellow car or maybe black....I'm leaning towards red I'm sure I will do the decal thing as well maybe having it say: "mustang" "5.0" or the pony logo...not sure yet.

Again, Great job.......just don't know if I can let my car sit for a couple days. that's a tall order

I would love to do mine, also... but I don't know if it would look right... That bright red against my (dark) Candy Red car... What do you all think???
Just my opinion...I wouldn't do two different shades of red (or any color). I have a yellow car and I found pictures of a different yellow caliper and it just doesn't look right. Silver or black on red would look great in my opinion.

Good luck.

Ordered the CS package instead of the brembo because of the dull look. Didn't know painting them could look so good. Looks awesome man.
