Anybody else have paint peeling on steering wheel controls?

This occurred on Lexus vehicles as well. My previous 2011 gt had 50k and buttons were perfect. Current car has 24k miles and are peeling. Gentleman used moisturizer, can tell by leather being smooth and shiny.
