I did the retro grille on mine a couple months ago.
After seeing the inside of the bumper cover, I would NOT recommend trying to pull the stock out throught the front. Aside from almost certainly breaking tabs, I don't know how you'd drill the holes for the new mounts.

I did a writeup for AM which was accepted recently but may not be on the site yet.

They really change the look of the car - Diva's is A+ beautiful.

You did a great job on yours Wes, thanks for posting the install!

There is no way to remove the upper grille with a nice tug without breaking the clips and/or scratching up the front bumper. Not only that, but putting it back in correctly into all the tabs would be extremely hard. It's 100x easier/safer to remove the front bumper. And you don't have to remove the lower grille.. which tells me you have no idea what you're talking about other than your snobby grammatical corrections. To each his own.

I knew 1 of those kind of people also !! They flock into forums, from all over.

As for your 'Stangs mods.. That looks really neat & I can see why you're proud of Car, Mods, & Posting, I would be also !!
Again, looks swell !!

Maybe 'DIIVa could offer a subtle apology for the snobbish corrective post...
She does have a nice looking front end though !

How would you rate the difficulty level 1 - 10 ??

By the way did you take your license bracket off for the pic session ???

I really like the Looks of your mod !
If I can ever get 1 of AM codes, I can start Winter projects..

Enjoy your 'Stang !!

Yes then can be quite contagious. I appreciate your kind words. Difficulty isn't too bad but patience is a must. I'd rate it like a 4/5. I actually took the bracket off when I got the car. The dealer had a stupid bulky plate holder riveted into the front bumper so I tapped out the rivets and put a couple plastic push pins into the holes. Not having a front plate in Illinois is illegal but I'll run the risk for a sleek look :P

AM usually has codes floating around if you type it in google. "American Muscle coupon code month/year" Sometimes they have a $15 off $100+ which is actually better than the 6% they give us unless you spend over $250.

Good Luck with your modding!!

I am going to be the small majority here, but I am moreover completely dissatisfied with this grill and the instructions included.

First and foremost, mine came bent. I never called AM because honestly a) I just wanted to get the grill in because it looks cool and the bend is minor and b) I didn't want to deal with shipping back and forth.

The instructions included were confusing and not really the most helpful.

And third, it has oxidized like hell and looks like crap now... I have a black Mustang and I've got a off black grey colored grill

[edit] Bend not shown in picture I can take another picture if necessary.
