According to above posts John Deere & other companys are trying to make it where we can't modify our Cars or Trucks !!

Not sure if Bama (or any other tuner) alter the software in the computer. They change settings that the software reads. Settings (or data) is not the same as the code.

in aug ford released a 28 page guide to the dealers named Gas Engine Performance Modifications Job Aid
in it they show the dealers how to look for mods and where to look for tuners being used by counting the restarts in the pcm, by counting restarts.
