I sent an email to one of the mods asking if they would be interested in stickying the thread. No response after a few days. Does anyone know who the administrator is here? It's probably better if I go straight to the head honcho.

Thanks!

very good stuff you have provided. I would have one minor comment. After I had (another car, not a Mustang) painted with clear coat, he said that after 5-7 days curing I needed to care for it just like usual. I said well I didn't need to wax because of the clear coat. he said Yes you do! It is a common misconception that a clear coat negates the need for wax. Not true.

Manta, I agree totally. The clear coat is just another layer of clear paint. It should be cared for as well.

I think you should put up some pics showing results using these methods

Clean your wheels first cause they are the dirtiest?? If you listen to this guy you will ruin your car. Wash top to bottom leaving the dirtiest parts last. I would never risk getting grit on my sponge or cloth b4 i wash the body. If you have to listen to this guys nonsense you shouldnt wash your own car in the first place. I AM a professional detailer and there are some things in this article that means death to your paint. Just found this thread and thought I would warn everyone out there that likes their car to look new. Also, sounds like he is a Zaino rep.
