I dont think you will get many post to this thread! You cant compare the 2, money for money the 351 will endup on top end of point!
stock for stock? cant be compaired its hands down the new tech ftw but in the long run budget wise the old school wins!

When I did my first build like 10 years ago I took a 351w from a old F150 bone stock and slapped it in my mustang. It had truck heads and a truck cam. Literally made peek HP/torque at 2,000rpm (The exact point when it was floored on the dyno lol) It made 225whp and 335ft/tq to the wheels. This was behind a stock T-5 also.
