Default CAI and Nitrous

I know the C&L CAI is a good CAI to use if you're going for a nitrous application, but are the JLT or Demolet ok to use too?

I'm leaning towards the JLT or Demolet, and I've also been thinking of juice (I'm always thinking of things to do to the car when I have the cash). And yes, I know that a blower or turbo produces a lot of bang for the buck vs. the cost of refilling the nitrous bottle, but nitrous has always been known as a cheap power adder (as long as you don't grenade the motor).

My fiance would kill me if I started saving for a turbo when I should be getting money together for our wedding.

It worked fine on my Demolet when I had it. Easier to drill into as well. For nitrous, I doubt one CAI has an edge over another. The C&L, Demolet and JLT all generate roughly the same gains.

Oh I know the gains would be the same, I was just wondering about spray nozzles, etc. Because I remember someone saying they thought about the WMS CAI, but the tube wasn't long enough for a spray nozzle, I think that's what it was.

According to the Zex install manual the nozzle should be placed 6" to 18" from the TB.... I don't think the WMS is over 6 inches long... ???

If that's the case with Zex, it probably isn't going to work. This is a picture of the WMS system on a GT, but the V6 uses a similar setup.

This seems kind of funny in a way though. Back when I first started seeing nitrous installations people were trying to hide them so some of the installations were done to the underside of the intake manifolds between the carb and the heads intake ports. If you didn't want to hide it there where spacer plates which could go between the carb and the manifold. Why couldn't the nitrous injection be closer to the TB or even after the TB on the S197?

An interesting thread because I'm going to use the WMS CAI when I get my tax refund and I've been considering nitrous after that.
