Hey guys I just found a set of used 3.73 gears and T-Loc for 180.00 shipped. They look to be in great shape, but I am by no means an expert on gears. They have 80k miles on them do you believe this to be an issue so much it might be better to buy all new stuff vice these used ones? Note: these came off a Ranger.

i would never buy used gears . to much hassle to r&r if there is a prob

i have a set of used 3.73 gears which i opted not to get installed per the advice of the gear shop that installed my new gears. supposedly, used gears with high miles already have a wear pattern that will not match up on a different vehicle and cause moderate whine at the least. not recommended for street use but fine for offroad.

i would stay away and buy new....180 shipped is cheap as hell though

Used gear are def not a good idea. As tempting as a good deal may be, don't do it.
