Need help! VR7140 tuner ?'s
Has anyone had experience loading other diablo tunes onto the VR7140 for the C & L intake and 87,91, or 93 octane performance/torque type tunes from the U7140 for a 2005 4.0L? Can I download them from the diablo site? Can I purchase them from Bama or somebody? Can a file be emailed to me from a member?
Also could I load a tune for a 2000 3.8L - Stock for more economy/performance.
I went to Alternative for a custom tune and had to go with SCT. Now my diablo is a paper weight unless I can load some custom tunes. It'd be nice to leave it as a VR7140 and add adjustable or custom tunes tunes to it.
Is this possible? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You need to either find an e-mail tuner that can write custom tunes for diablosport tuners or a local tuner with a mustang dyno that also supports the diablo.
The problem is Bama (AM), Brenspeed, and VMP all seem to work exclusively with SCT and don't write tunes for Diablosports, so you're best bet is probably going to be to look around your area and get a reputable tuner that can do a pull on your car and put a tune on your tuner.
And no, definitely don't install a tune for a 3.8L, that's asking for trouble.

- The 2000 3.8L is my girfriend's mom's car
