FREEZING
Hi All,
I am hoping someone can help me. I recently lost all ventilation as well as no rear defroster or a/c, this is very bad since its -12c. I bought a new relay to replace the one listed as #32 in the engine compartment fusebox (climate control blower ) but it made no difference. I could not believe that they charge 22.00 for a 3$ relay. Does anyone have any suggestions for me cuz its been really cold driving around with no heating.
Thanks

Here's the link to the shop manual. Dig in to find the wiring diagrams and system troubleshooting info. http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=1
Good luck. Let us know what you find.

Thanks for the feedback!
Graypony, sorry but I don't understand what you mean by BEC, most of my fuses are listed with numbers next to them so i'm not too sure where F2 and F52 are. And I checked and there is not corrosion or leakage that i can see.
That service link is great nuke.
Kevin i really hope i dont have to do that as it sounds alot more expensive than a relay or a fuse.

Apparently not...yet. Maybe he is trying to do some initial first step trouble shooting before resorting to making a claim on a TSB issue, kind like putting "the ducks in a row" and ruling out other things before going to the TSB.
