JLT Performance Cold Air Intake (10 V6)
So the GF picked this up for me for Christmas and i would love to install it on the stang today .. but bama is not open to update my tunes on my SCT tuner and because this is a tune required CAI i wanted to get some advice... should i just suck it up and wait or should i be ok to install it and update the tunes as soon as they send me the new files?

oh yea .. i figured that i could try it just so everything is set up and see what happened ...
the set up took about 15-20 min .. started the car and it acted like it was not getting any air at all ... hardly turning over .. so i shut it off and went back to stock .. which took about 5-10 min .. so when i get the tune it should take about 5 min to install the CAI since everything is set and ready to go ...

Did you make sure to connect all the hoses? When I installed mine I had forgotten to connect the hoses and tesr drove it, only to have the car "choking." Went back, connected the hoses, haven't had any problems to this day. Just wait for the tune.
