Default Just Hit 100k what should I do?

Hi all, I am new to this forum and I hope I am posting this in the right place. But anyways, my 2006 v6 mustang just hit the 100k mile mark and was looking for some suggestions on any parts that may need be to checked or replaced, I have been looking everywhere for this answer but to no avail. I thought it'd be best to get info from other mustang owners who may have already hit this point or have experience on this matter. Thanks in advanced.

Sell it and run for the hills!!!!

lol, theres really nothing special to do except keep up with maintenance.

Change the oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, if its an auto I would recommend a full flush and filter change.

These cars are usually pretty reliable if you take care of them. replace things as they break.

Have a drink.

As long as you're doing your regular maintenance, there's nothing else "special" that needs to be done. Others here have over 100k, a few over 150k and at least one over 200k miles.

I have 194,800 on mine today - had to change the water pump at 150,000 and the alternator at 189,872. It has been very reliable; even through two race seasons on a 75 shot of nitrous and then pulled the nitrous at 90,000 miles and put the Xcharger on.

If you haven't changed plugs yet you are due - when was the last time you changed the fuel filter (it is over due by a lot if you haven't done it) -

The front axle bearings are rated for 100,000 miles - but I haven't replaced mine yet (but did order the unit and will do it as a safety precaution just because of the mileage on my car).

Got 180,000 on my 1996 V6 coupe. Going strong. As stated, keep up the maintenance. Replace things, hopefully as they are worn, BEFORE they actually break. Check your wheel bearings, hoses, belts real well, and as often as you change your oil if you haven't been.

Bushings are something that never get checked often enough, make sure they are still good. Maybe a brake fluid and trans fluid flush. New filters, stuff like that.

lol, I dont change anything untill it breaks...I really havent changed many parts on the mustang that I didnt expect to.

Mostly things like brakes, brake pads, rotors, spark plugs, fuel filters and things you would expect to change.

Ive still got all the stock accessories other than the starter that corroded a terminal and I replaced a rear axle seal.

All my problems stem from my addiction to going fast.

Ive got about 155k miles on my car and its a 96 btw.

Going to fast? In a Mustang? I didn't know you could do that. Well maybe to fast for the police, lol. Or maybe faster then speedo can show?

I am guilty of the same thing. I drive mine hard too! Even with 180k on it. My 28yo niece doesn't understand, "Uncle Rodger, how come you can drive like a bat outa hell and your car keeps going, yet my pontiac keeps breaking down?" I tell her "Maintenance."
