Struts and Shocks for 2006 V6 Base model
#11
Finally, the struts, one ball joint, and rear shocks are being replaced tomorrow. The struts and ball joint, etc. is $630 + tax. I called him this morning and added the rear shocks and will get that charge when I pick it up tomorrow evening. He is putting on the Monroe shocks w/o me asking. He said he'd try and squeeze in the rear shocks as not originally planned in making my appt 2 weeks ago.

Happy I had the work done when I did!

Total cost was $842.43 incl tax. Both lower ball joints have now been replaced in the last year. With the new Monroe Struts and rear shocks, it is back to handling like it should after 130,000+miles.
That's with 4 new replacement winter Blizzak snow tires. I had it up to 95MPHish for short test and had to do some weaving in traffic for a short distance. All is nice with sure footed handling and response. It is good for a few more years and people still looking at it. It's a Mustang!
