About to rebuild transmission. Any advice?

Try here, I bought one with 2000 miles on it for 600 shipped. Its pretty easy to remove and reinstall tranny by yourself if you have a transmission jack, or motorcycle jack.

I didnt really get any pics in the process of taking it out, but I having some pics of what it looks like now with everything out. Once my 2nd gear arrives I will document the rebuild and will get some picture during the re-install. Then I'll attempt to write up a nice "how to"
whats the best way to put pics up here?

so here is the underside of the shift ****, where there is a linkage bar that connects to the transmission, first thing that came out.

shifter linkage
next was the driveshaft
pretty easy to undo, mine was pretty stuck bacause of pressure I assume? scissor jack helped pressit off the differential and transmission. Also because of my exhaust setup, it was tricky to get out. on a stock system it would of been a peice of cake.
then you remove the solenoid
mounted to underside of engine with two wires connected to the battery
then dissconect anything plugged into/connected to the transmission. Two electrical wires, O2 sensors, and the clutch hydraulic line.
4 O2 sensors
clutch hydraulic line
speed sensor and back-up light sensor
after removing crossmeber bolts that support the transmission tailhousing and the bolts connecting it to the engine, you can slide it back from the clutch. There is a rod connecting them. Then it drops right down, and its not light.
Here are some pics of the trans, so you can see where the sensors and clutch line plug in to.

this is my clutch, I thought it looked alright. If i could replace it right now I would, but dont think it is absolutely necessary now. what does everyone else think? can you even tell ahah?
like I said, I'll attempt a full detailed write up once I finish. let me know if there is any more you would like to see or anything else I should do or check for while i have the car apart.
Thanks!

Mr. Vortech, that's why.
Schit, if I get any trouble with mine it's going 6 spd that's all there is to it.
The T5 on these cars isn't worth messing with it or replacing with the same.
That goes with the POS differential as well...

So, I have come to the point where to finish this rebuild I am going to have to drop another $600. I'm already in the hole $350 for my basic rebuild kit.
I've been thinking about just upgrading at this point only because it doesnt sound like the t5 is going to last much longer after I'd finish anyways.
My question is then, what 6 speeds are available to me? Where can I find them and how much?
