What oil and filter?

I used Mobil 1 for many years and also used Amsoil for a good while.
I have been converted to Pennzoil full synthetic and will most likely stay with it.
I used Purolator filters for many years, but having seen some bad stuff about them recently I will go to something else. Right now I am running a Royal Purple filter. Since I only run my full synthetic for 5K miles, I might just go back to Motorcraft.

Wrong. You can switch back and forth, even mix if you MUST. Dino, blend and full syn are fully compatible. The only thing you can possibly impact is the different protective packages fighting one another. But you can go full syn and then blend or dino.

The filter is more crucial than what brand/type of oil. You could use the "best" (I HATE that ****ing word) boutique oil in the world and a crap filter will result in loss of power, compression, excessive oil use, etc due to passing trash thru the engine. And the Motorcraft filters from WalMart are fine, too.
I don't know where this guy gets his info but I think he needs his meds.

WalMart filter was a figure of speech Dr. Nuke. Not sure why anyone would want to switch back and fourth between synthetic / blend but I was always told if you constantly run synthetic, not to switch back later down the road because it could possibly be harmful. Sorry, should've been more clear. Fcukk Her Right In The Pu$$y!!
