Default my 05 V6 is acting up!

When I go to start my car it acts like the battery is dead or almost, clicks, gauges barely come on, when I try 2 or 3 more times starts up, but the cd player cycles through the disc's, the tag reads 0 rpm @ idle, al the gauges have their normal readings. I checked the alternater the old school way by taking pos of battery, idle stays the same doesn't drop of at all, so I know thats good. If anyone has had this issue or any ideas on whats going on I'd appreciate the help! Thanks in advance.

I can do that, but I'm thinking it's more in ignition then battery, when I hit 2nd or 3rd time it turns over fine.

Clean the posts and cables yet? Check the grounds to body and the block for corrosion and if the battery is a few years old have it checked.
