Default My steeda tri-ax won't fit! Help!

So I got my tri ax today, and tried to install it. I got as far as removing the stock shift lever and taking out the plate with the rubber boot. As I went to remove the 4 13mm bolts that hold the shift mechanism to the tranny I realized it wasnt gonna work. The two bolts that are toward the rear section are only exposed a bit more than half way. Meaning I cant get a socket or wrench in there to get them out. WTF? It looks like the only way to get at the bolts is to cut away a small part of the car or remove the tranny. Both of which i'm not about to do. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? thanks

Never heard of any problems with them. Ask N20Junkie..he has that and perhaps can shed some light on the situation.

Don't cut anything!
