i'm glad you guys found my comment funny, because after posting it I laughed myself lol.

on a serious note, today I had to jack up each side a bit , support the axle, and then put the jack under th epumpkin and get it higher.

Well you guys have officially scared the crap out of me, so when I get the stuff I will make sure my brother works on it with me incase of the WORSE case senario. 2 is better than 1.

Anyway I will probably get some good jack stands from Jegs, spend the money there, and go to Sears and get a decent jack to get the car up. Then like you guys said I can use the jack as support, but I won't cheap out on the jack stands, as they seem to be most important. I will get 4 jack stands and just have the whole car lifted.

Also I have wood that I use when my dad's mechanic does the oil change because I know a normal jack won't fit under my car. I drive up on the wood first and then get the jack under there... So I have that covered.

Last question... Someone told me to get a creeper? What is it and what does it do for me?

Thanks.

its the thing you see in garages that you lye down on and scoot along the floor... easier than wiggling around on a hard floor and much nicer on your back
