installing tail light tint...

did you guys ever remove the tail lights or did u guys just leave them on as it as and just glued them on? is it neccessary for the soapy water?

I've just left them on, nor glue or soapy water or anything. I got a spray bottle to wet them when i put them on, ans haven't touched them since.

yea uh DONT GLUE IT ON!!!! the reason you use soapy water is it acts as a sealer and seals the film on so you can take it off whenver u want. just leave the lights in find a half empty windex bottle and dump it out and fill it with soapy water.

Its so you can move the tint around on the lense...once the water dries, it sticks. Its not a sealer?
