Default Fog lamps

I was told by a number of sites that the Silverstar 893ST is a direct replacement for the 899s that are currently in our car. However one blew out before a year so I called Sylvania to get a refund. A refund could not be given cause its not a direct replacement

What fog lamps would work in our cars and last longer than a month? :P

893 899 and 880 all fit just fine it blew most likely not because of the fittment issue, but because of some other reason eg.water leak in your lamp,

I went through two sets of 899's before i got tired of replacing them. I took the foglight housings out and put a bead of clear silicone around it where the lens meets the housing. Haven't had a problem since.
