Default heat?

I recently picked up a black 99 GT convert. with 19k miles and I notice when I drive there is heat that comes out of where the parking brake is located is this normal? It's fairly hot air.

THat is normal...mine does it as well, mainly i think from trans heat.

Also i think the exhaust has some input too. I have a prochamber that sits right there and it gets hot!!!

yep, normal. It' the fact that the tranny tunnel makes a nice 'collector' tunnel for the heat from the engine bay. It's not very well insulated either so that doesn't help.
