96 gt ac unit
The ac recently quit blowing cold and I believe it's just the freion. My question is what setup does the 96 Stang have as far as putting freion back in? A co-worker says it could be (something like) 112a or 34b. Thanks

gradual would point to a leak...
my best advice right now is go to autozone and buy a few cans of freon and one of their charge kits. Buy 2 cans of R134a and the kit usually has some glasses, a UV light and a blue hose with a fitting on each end. Sometimes the kit uncludes freon sometimes it does not.
Little secret, DO NOT GET THE FREON WITH STOP LEAK... get the stuff with the UV dye in it. This will point out the leak really quick, fill it up and if it stops blowing cold again, search around with the glasses and UV light until you see the glowing dye.
The problem with stop leak is many shops will not touch the car if it has this in there and they do have ways to test for it, I've done them at school... stop leak fu**s up a/c machines
