Sonic03Cobra

I have a 03 cobra and i am replacing the upper pully with a moto blue QC pully and i was wondering if any one here has replaced one with out the special puller/pressing tool? i have a normal puller and it will fit im just wondering if i will be able to press it back on out breaking any thing.. not sure what to use to press it back on? any one done this before? can i use the stock bolt with like 2 washers to pull it back on? how tight are they on there? any help would be great..
