aluminum flywheel

RE: aluminum flywheel
i dont have any specs on one or the cost... but you have to step back and ask yourself why you really want one...
Light weight FW = faster reving of the motor which my not be what you want if you are going to be doing any drag racing b/c you will hit your shift points faster and when you do shift you will lose RMPs faster which in turn your motor will have to work a little harder(more resistance) to get back up to max RPM...
A stock FW = more mass rotation which will help when racing b/c you have more mass spinning and you wont lose RPMs as fast.. yes you may be a few lbs heavier.. but its the overall picture you have to look at.
Hope this helps a little.

and unless you are replacing the trans or clutch the labor cost per gain is outrageous. even if you do the labor yourself id say its still not worth doing by itself
i had to change my f/w b/c my crank pattern changed and i went w/ the steel
