Default Roush Side exhaust

Just curious. I was looking into getting a roush kit. Does flowmaster make a muffler that has an inlet and outlet on the same side. Or can you run them into 45 degree angles so they just y out of each side? And does the pipe get skinny when going under the frame rail on the side of the car. Any cuttting required there?

I know that with the mods you have your going to be looing into subframe connectors soon. Back in 2000 there was not a set up for that with subframs. Just something to look at.

Just curious but why would I need subframes? If a Roush comes with them(side exhaust) and they dont have them (subframe connecters) then why would I need them? A supercharged roush has more power than I have. Little confused!

I'd take the subframes over the side exhaust anyday.

Yeah but my car is just a daily driver. I dont think I need subframes. I really dont need the side exhaust either. I was just more curious about how and what kind of mufflers I could use. Ive got a race car to handle all the speed.

Gotcha.

Mine is a DD also and I've been happy as **** with my subframes. I drive better in the rain with my SC and TC turned off than I did when I was barely modded and had TC turned on.

As cool as side exits look, I'll be putting subframes on all of my future Mustangs as my first mod.

The only reason I stated that is that subframes do alot for the car. and side exhaust don't. Yes it looks cool and if they make a kit that can give you bolth then that would be very cool.
