A lighter flywheel will fool the engine into thinking it has more power than it really does. How, you ask?Less rotating mass =less rotating inertia to be overcome, and quicker acceleration.anything that reduces weight will improve 1/4 mile times without having to increase HP.Beware buying anything off of E-bay,lots of people have gotten burned.I personally would be sceptical of a 13 pound flywheel on a street driven car, although I have no experience on this subject.
