well you say the ecu and the brake ooster would have to be changed out. Then you have to install the motor and have it all hooked up. Could you do it RIGHT over the weekend. If not, how long would it take from the get go?

Cool... I think I might just buy a blower for my 2v and save my self a lot of heart ache! LOL I never have time for a project like that and I dont have the tools either.

Well I will look into it and see what it will take but Im thinking there is more work to it than im willing to put into it. LOL
And im sure there is someone out there that is willing to charge $10,000 to do it but I'd rather just get a blower put on my 2V.

A 4v swap isn't really cost effective, given that it will bolt up to your block, you would still need to change the intake, wiring harness, ecu, timing cover, etc. - really you pretty much need a donor car - but if you had that then you have an entire engine to swap - and you have the aluminum block and forged crank.
The 3v may be the way to go in the future, since their SOHC designs and probably wont require anyting more to swap then a PI swap on an older 4.6 - but who really knows until they hit the market and the heads, etc. become available.
