I was unaware that it was so easily scratched. Sounds like a bad idea now. I just wanted to shave a few pounds.
yeah, paintball mask lenses are made of lexan. Strong yes, but they are sooo easy to scratch...

Yes they are easy to scratch. It sucks.

And even though its strong, it can still break into jagged pieces. Just imagine turning a car upside down, and getting a piece of lexan through you.
Yea thats why the DOT makes us rock with tempered glass haha
Wow I didn't know the windshield was tempered. and lexan isn't bad like everyone thinks. as far as rollovers and it breaking. NASCAR uses it, nuff said. and for it scratching and not being able to see. AIRPLANES use them for windshields, they have wipers and I know I've never heard of a plane crashing because the pilot couldn't see.
