i'm looking to install the eibach pro system plus. do i really need to get cc plates? a friend of mine got 2" drop springs for his focus and he didn't get them. i know it's a different car, but i was just wondering.

You shouldn`t need them with the pro kit. It`s onlya 1.5" drop. Anything more than that then you will need them.

you dont need them until you hit a 2 inch drop, but even with a 1.5 inch drop they will improve your suspension. i say do it anyway

I would definitely add them to your stang. I know allot of people say you don't need them, but I disagree. First, with c/c plates, you can add more pos. caster 3.5+. This helps the car track straight/return to center and gives you more steering feel/input. The second is that when you lower , even only 1.5" the front strut piston is now lower in the strut housing...good chance of bottoming out the struts! With a quality set like MMs, you can add spacers under the plates to bring the strut mounting point close to stock specs. This will put the piston/shaft back into the proper operating range. I hope this sheds some light on using caster camber plates.[/align]
