Default Tune?

When you guys say get a good tune what you mean? like with a sct or preditor?

Yes, but the best tune is alwase a dyno tune. (you still have to have ahandheld tuner)

No, we don't mean a Preditor or any other handheld tuner. A good tune consists of you giving your car to someonewho knows what he/she is doing, them putting the car on a dynograph and the setting the air/fuel ratios correctly to your car. You can do this without a handheld tuner. People do it all the time. It just costs more to do it that way and you can only hold one tune at a time. If you have one of the handhelds and then go get your car dynoed, they can tune it for everyday driving and aggressive driving. That way, your car is nice and safe everyday and will be real squirly if you want her to be

i did say dyno tune was the best [8D]. but i thought you had to have a handheld to uplode the adjustments made fromthe dynotune also.. guess i was wrong.

You're right if you're thinking it would be easier. But it isn't necessary. The way they do it without the handheld tuners is burn another chip for your car; which adds about $200 to the price. It's always a good idea to have the tuner no matter what you're doing
