Default EGR or IAC

When its cold out and i start my car it does not want to stay running. It will idle up and down and then shut off. I have to keep on the throttle to keep it running. When its warmed up for a while its fine.

I'd say it was your IAC. Your EGR does do much at idle.

Is your CEL on?

If so I'd would say the EGR but like sxynerd said it's probably the IAC. When my 97 starting dying it was the IAC but the CEL did not come on.

Luckily it's an easy fix!

+1 on the easy fix.

The CEL is not on. Thanks guys. I will change the IAC and see how it is.
