Default Clunk when accelerating

I haven't had time yet to look under my car yet but I'm getting a fairly loud clunk during initial acceleration. It also does it when I let off the gas quickly. And it even does it when I put it in reverse. I'm thinking it is probably one of the mounts. Anyone have a similar problem before? I've been really busy recently and I don't have the time to look under my car for a couple hours. Any help is appreciated.

When mine was making the noise it was the rear control arms (due to be worn out and poorquality)letting the rear move 1/2" to 1" and it was knocking against the tail pipes. I changed out the upper and lower rear controls with the upr control arms and noise was gone. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm in no way ruling out the motor mounts or u joints, I'm just thowing out another possiblity.

Where does the clunking come from?? That would be useful to know as well, since you could rule out at least the rear U-joint.. Also, about how many miles are there on the car?? U-joints tend to last a while, versus the tranny mount which can decay within 50k miles if you live in an area where they use road salt during the winter, or you tend to shift hard...
