That pretty much covers all the bases...Fiberglass or carbon fiber parts are your next best bet...you really cant deduct too much more weight...but I could be wrong..

Yea thats true, i'm going to eventually get a dyno tune. My car is untuned and is fast, but i can imagine it being alot faster with a dyno tune.

I heard that every 100 lbs is a .1 in the quarter, not 260. If it was 360 then i wouldn't bother. I can easily get rid of 300lbs and thats .3 thats not bad. Yea it will be unsafe but i dont drive it much so i think im good.

Well you have to balance out if this is also your only car/daily driver. For me, I just removed my spare tire & related and also have plans for a lightweight battery. And maybe lightweight parts. But I'd rather have everything on there.

Losing weight is just as good as adding power. I'll do the battery for weight and thats it.

Try ditching the stock K-member. I believe some of them can be as much as 60lbs lighter.

Take a BIG POOP!!!! As far as getting a light weight battery i would just move it to the trunk I think the placement of the wieght will give you more than taking off If you wanted a light wieght car a coupe is the way to go and their is something there besides your head if you happen to roll over.
