Well why can't I get the HP gains from the electric WP AND UDPs?

You can. Your car might get low voltage while sitting at a stoplight though.
UDP's cut your alternator power by 25%, and an electric water pump would sap electricity.

gotcha. But at the moment, I don't have the alternator pulley on because it was the wrong size. Silly Ford and their midyear changes

haha I don't want to argue either. I'm just thinking of possible stuff to do to squeeze out a few more hp. At this point though, I'm saving up for a Kenne Bell and that 400 for the electric water pump isn't something I'd say I really need. Maybe for a drag car.

I'm just done with all the bolt ons pretty much so it's time for the big boy stuff

A UDP alternator pulley charges the system 25% less...Ask anyone.

It only charges 25% less at idle, and most high output alternators actually put out less than stockers at idle, they just make up for it once the RPMs go over 1200 or so. Unless you have to sit in heavy traffic without going over 1200 rpms for long periods of time, that 25% won't hurt you at all. You may watch your voltage drop a little if you get stuck in traffic, but hit the gas a little, and watch it pop right back up to normal.
