With a helicoil in #3 cylinder and 66,...... miles on it, I'm afraid of blowing up my DD on the dyno. Kinda like I was when I had the thing dyno tuned.
I know this sound unprofessional but my current dyno tune was lost. I would have to go through another dyno tune ( at Swarr expense ) to recal a simple Maf change.
I hope my POS 4.6 doesn't explode on the dyno. I think I will video record it this time.
Wouldn't that make a great youtube video for the importers to bad mouth.

if you want to know if the MAF is toast you when you log, you dont have to get into boost. So it shouldnt cause any issues.

I did change the clocking when I reinstalled it. I know that could throw a code too. Maybe I'll try spinning it a little bit once it stops raining. See if that takes care of it.

OK, so while I was Sea Foaming my car this afternoon, I noticed a wire connector dangling.
I spent 10 minutes pulling my hair out trying to figure out where it went to. Then it hit me. I think its some sort of pcv valve but it is located on the passenger side valve cover. It has a wire harness connecting underneath it and a hose that goes up to the intake plenum. Well thats what was making my car throw P0172 & P0175 codes. Its smokes alot from the sea foam but it runs so much better now.

Glad it wasn't my Maf 'cause I just got laid off Friday. I need 2 rear tires and inspection is due by the end of the month.
