has any body had to have there sincros replaced do you know how much it cost? my second gear is bad.

I had my tranny rebuilt for about $800 and i've been told that's cheap. My 2nd and 3rd syncros went out. Since you're going to have to replace second you might as well look into replacing everything while you're in there. It's probably going to cost $1000 or more.

its just the syncro thats bad was that them pulling it out and every thing

one of my buddies had his 3rd gear synchro go out in his 04 GT. it cost him $400, which IMO is a rip off.

i had my entire tranny rebuilt. 1600$. covered under warranty so i didnt care about price. they upgraded syncro's, and replaced some of the gears, along with an additional 1 year warranty from aamco on the work they did.
