Try cleaning the iac, If that dont work you will have to replace it . That what i had to do. At advance it cost like 50 dollars Then all was fine.

I just cleaned my IAC, same issue, though getting the carbon out did fix me, I didn't have to buy a new one. It is like a 5 minute job, just need a screwdriver and a socket set with some throttle body/carb cleaner and you'll be done in no time.

have the same issue, hasn't shut off in a long time, but the rpms still do whatever they want when slowing down but hasn't shut off, you guys think replacing it all together is the key? New throttle positioning sensor, so know its not that.

Yeah, if it runs well at idle its not the aic. Since it only shuts off when rpm's are dropping to idle its a vacuum leak. Check that your intake is tightened down to spec(mainly the upper). That is about the only way I can think of that you can have a bad vacuum leak and idle fine. If it does happen to throw a lean code though, it is probably one of the lower intake bolts.
